ASPHALT CONCRETE PLANT OPERATOR - MAGOG

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the authority of the plant director, the plant operator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the asphalt plant to meet operational needs while respecting the company's quality, production, and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Control and supervise the operations of the asphalt concrete plant;
• Carry out the manufacture of asphalt mixes and ensure their compliance;
• Apply established operation procedures and quality standards;
• Perform truck loading;
• Manage non-compliant products;
• Ensure preventive maintenance and repairs of the plant to optimize its operation;
• Produce and transmit various daily reports;
• Collaborate with site teams and various stakeholders;
• Perform all other related tasks related to the position.

REQUIREMENTS

• Training in industrial mechanics or relevant experience in a related field;
• Comfortable with computer tools;
• Knowledge of the asphalt mix field (asset);
• General knowledge in industrial mechanics (asset);
• Experience in an industrial or production environment (asset).

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Seasonal permanent position;
• Day schedule (evening and night very occasional);
• Between 50 & 60 hours per week;
• Workplace: Magog;
• Salary starting at $33 per hour;
• Group insurance (after probation);
• Retirement plan with RRSP (after 1 year);
• On-site parking.
